Do I need a subscription?

Will it work on my work laptop?
Yes — no install, no login, no admin rights. It opens like any local file.
Do I need Excel or a Google account?
No. It's a self-contained browser app. Nothing else is required.
Where's my data stored?
On your machine only. Nothing is uploaded. Your numbers never leave the browser you open the file in.
What if I clear my browser or switch computers?
Data lives in that browser's local storage, so clearing it clears the data. Use the built-in Export in Settings to back up, and Import to restore or move to another machine.
What commission structures does it handle?
It works on a deal value and a rate, with a rate you can set per deal. It's built for straightforward percentage-based commission rather than complex multi-tier accelerators.
Does it also manage my pipeline?
Commission HQ is focused on what you earn. If you want to run the deals themselves — stages, follow-ups and forecast — pair it with Pipeline HQ.
Can I export my commission data?
Yes. Settings includes Export (including a CSV) so you can pull your numbers out or keep a backup.
